Alexis Ohanian

Alexis Ohanian, born April 24, 1983, is an American internet entrepreneur and investor. He is best known as the co-founder of the social news website Reddit, which he launched with Steve Huffman in 2005. Under their leadership, Reddit grew into one of the most popular websites globally. In 2012, Ohanian co-founded the venture capital firm Initialized Capital, which has invested in several successful startups including Coinbase and Instacart. Additionally, he is recognized for his advocacy for open internet policies and was a key figure in the 2012 protests against SOPA/PIPA legislation. Ohanian also authored the bestselling book, "Without Their Permission," which explores themes of internet entrepreneurship and innovation.
