Andrew Huberman

Andrew Huberman, born in 1975, is a neuroscientist and tenured professor in the Department of Neurobiology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He gained prominence for his research on brain function, brain plasticity, and neural regeneration. In 2017, his lab developed a technique to promote nerve regeneration in patients with spinal cord injuries, a milestone in neurobiology. Huberman is also the host of the "Huberman Lab Podcast," where he translates complex neuroscience topics into accessible information for the public. His work earned him the McKnight Foundation Neuroscience Scholar Award in 2013. Huberman's research continues to provide critical insights into the mechanisms that underlie brain health and function.
