He published the long-running series “Aforizmy ot Arkadiya Davidovitsa,” which circulated widely in newspapers and literary journals throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Davidowitz also co-wrote the satirical novel “Horochee delo” (1979) and contributed scripts to several Soviet radio humor programs. His compact, punchline-driven lines became a staple of the magazine Yunost’ in the early 1990s. He continued producing new collections until his death in Voronezh in 2016. less
