Barack Obama

Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, served from 2009 to 2017. He made history as the first African American to hold the office. Born on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama graduated from Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he became the first African American president of the Harvard Law Review. In 2009, Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. His administration passed the Affordable Care Act in 2010, which expanded healthcare coverage to millions of uninsured Americans. Obama also authorized the mission that led to the death of Osama bin Laden in 2011. He authored multiple books, including the best-selling memoir "Dreams from My Father."
