Charles R Swindoll

Charles R. Swindoll, born October 18, 1934, is a prominent American evangelical Christian pastor, author, and educator. He is best known for founding Insight for Living in 1979, a widely broadcast radio program that offers biblical teaching and practical advice. Swindoll served as the senior pastor of Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas, beginning in 1998. His literary contributions include over 70 books, with notable titles such as “Strengthening Your Grip” and “The Grace Awakening,” which have been influential in Christian circles. Swindoll also held the position of President and later Chancellor at Dallas Theological Seminary, contributing significantly to theological education. He received the NRB Hall of Fame Award in 2014 for his impactful media ministry.
