Henry Ford

Henry Ford (1863-1947) revolutionized the automobile industry with the introduction of the Model T in 1908. He is most celebrated for developing the assembly line technique of mass production, which drastically reduced the cost of manufacturing. By 1913, Ford implemented a moving assembly line for automobile production, which cut assembly time from 12 hours to about 90 minutes per car. In 1914, he introduced the $5 daily wage for workers, doubling the standard pay and establishing a new benchmark for labor rights. Ford's visionary approach not only made cars affordable for the average American but also transformed industrial manufacturing processes globally.
