Biography

Michael Uslan, born June 2, 1951, is a pivotal figure in the comic book and film industries, best known for his work as an executive producer on the Batman film series starting with Tim Burton's "Batman" in 1989. Uslan secured the film rights to the character in 1979 and has been instrumental in the production of numerous Batman films, including "The Dark Knight" trilogy directed by Christopher Nolan. In addition to his contributions to film, Uslan is an accomplished author. His memoir, "The Boy Who Loved Batman," published in 2011, provides a detailed account of his journey from comic book enthusiast to Hollywood producer. He also co-authored "Archie Marries…" with Stan Goldberg in 2009, a landmark graphic novel that imagines alternate futures for the beloved Archie characters.
