Sharon Stone

Sharon Stone, born March 10, 1958, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, gained international fame for her role as Catherine Tramell in the 1992 thriller "Basic Instinct." This performance earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress. In 1995, Stone won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for her portrayal of Ginger McKenna in Martin Scorsese's "Casino," a role that also earned her an Academy Award nomination. Additionally, Stone's early career was marked by her appearance in "Total Recall" (1990), where she played Lori Quaid. Beyond acting, she received a Primetime Emmy Award for her guest role in "The Practice" in 2004.
