Stephen Covey

Stephen Covey (1932-2012) was an influential American educator, author, businessman, and keynote speaker. He is best known for his seminal work, "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People," published in 1989, which has sold over 25 million copies worldwide. Covey's book revolutionized personal and professional development with its comprehensive approach to leadership and effectiveness. In 1996, Covey was recognized as one of Time magazine's 25 most influential Americans. He also founded the Covey Leadership Center, which later merged with Franklin Quest to form FranklinCovey, a global consulting and training organization. His other notable works include "First Things First" (1994) and "The 8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness" (2004). Covey earned a doctorate from Brigham Young University, where he also taught organizational behavior.
