Vivek Ramaswamy is an American entrepreneur and author, born on August 9, 1985. He is best known as the founder and CEO of Roivant Sciences, a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of innovative medicines. Ramaswamy launched Roivant in 2014, successfully bringing several drugs to market and forming numerous subsidiary companies, collectively known as the "Vants."
In 2021, he published "Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America's Social Justice Scam," a critical examination of corporate America's engagement with social justice issues, which gained significant attention and topped bestseller lists. Additionally, Ramaswamy was named to Forbes' "30 Under 30" in Finance in 2014, highlighting his rapid rise in the business world.
