Cate Blanchett

Cate Blanchett, born May 14, 1969, in Melbourne, Australia, is an acclaimed actress celebrated for her versatile performances in film, theater, and television. She gained international recognition for her role as Queen Elizabeth I in "Elizabeth" (1998), earning her a Golden Globe and BAFTA Award. Blanchett's portrayal of Katharine Hepburn in "The Aviator" (2004) won her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
