Biography
Albus Dumbledore (1881-1997) was a prominent wizard and the headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He is most celebrated for his defeat of the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald in 1945. Dumbledore also discovered the twelve uses of dragon's blood and contributed significantly to the field of alchemy alongside Nicolas Flamel. As Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot, he played a crucial role in magical law and governance. In 1992, he founded the Order of the Phoenix to combat Lord Voldemort. Dumbledore's tenure as headmaster was marked by his progressive policies and unwavering commitment to student welfare. He died in 1997, leaving behind a legacy of wisdom and courage.
