Jim Courier

Jim Courier, born August 17, 1970, in Sanford, Florida, is a former American professional tennis player who dominated the sport in the early 1990s. Courier won four Grand Slam singles titles, capturing the French Open in 1991 and 1992, and the Australian Open in 1992 and 1993. He became the youngest player to reach the finals of all four Grand Slam tournaments, achieving this feat by the age of 22. Courier held the world No. 1 ranking for a total of 58 weeks. He is distinguished by his powerful groundstrokes and tenacious baseline play. After retiring in 2000, he transitioned to a successful career as a tennis commentator and analyst.
