Lauren Boebert

Lauren Boebert (born December 19, 1986) is an American politician and businesswoman. She serves as the U.S. Representative for Colorado's 3rd congressional district, having assumed office on January 3, 2021. Boebert gained national attention for her staunch advocacy of gun rights and her ownership of Shooters Grill, a restaurant in Rifle, Colorado, where staff openly carry firearms. Boebert's political career began to rise when she defeated incumbent Scott Tipton in the Republican primary in June 2020. She is known for her strong support of conservative policies and her vocal presence on social media. In Congress, she has been a member of the House Freedom Caucus, emphasizing limited government and fiscal conservatism.
