Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin, born December 24, 1971, is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and actor. He gained international fame with his 1999 hit single "Livin' la Vida Loca," which became one of the best-selling singles of all time. Martin's career began in the early 1980s as a member of the boy band Menudo, where he developed his performance skills and gained substantial popularity in Latin America. In 1991, he launched his solo career with his debut album "Ricky Martin," followed by several successful albums, including "A Medio Vivir" (1995) and "Vuelve" (1998). The latter featured the Grammy-winning single "La Copa de la Vida," which he performed at the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Additionally, Martin has acted in television series such as "General Hospital" and Broadway productions like "Les Misérables."
