Russell Brand

Russell Brand (born June 4, 1975) is an English comedian, actor, and author. He first gained prominence as the host of "Big Brother's Big Mouth" (2004-2007), a spin-off of the reality TV series. Brand's breakout acting role came in the film "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" (2008), where he played the eccentric rock star Aldous Snow, a role he reprised in "Get Him to the Greek" (2010). In addition to his acting career, Brand is known for his stand-up comedy specials and books, including the memoir "My Booky Wook" (2007). Brand is also an advocate for various social and political causes, further distinguishing himself from his entertainment industry peers.
