Sean Parker

Sean Parker, born December 3, 1979, is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist. He co-founded the file-sharing computer service Napster in 1999, which revolutionized the music industry by allowing users to share MP3 files freely. In 2004, he became the first president of the social networking site Facebook, significantly contributing to its early growth and success. Parker also co-founded Plaxo, a social networking address book, in 2002, and later invested in Spotify, an influential music streaming service. In addition to his technological ventures, Parker established the Parker Foundation in 2015, which focuses on life sciences, global public health, and civic engagement.
