Sundar Pichai

Sundar Pichai, born Pichai Sundararajan on June 10, 1972, in Madurai, India, is the CEO of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google LLC. Pichai joined Google in 2004, where he led the product management and innovation efforts for a suite of Google's client software products, including Google Chrome and Chrome OS. He was pivotal in the development and success of Google Chrome, which became one of the world’s most used web browsers. In 2015, Pichai was appointed CEO of Google, and in December 2019, he took on the role of CEO of Alphabet Inc., Google's parent company. Under his leadership, Google has expanded its product range, including advancements in artificial intelligence and hardware. Pichai's tenure is marked by his strategic vision in steering Google’s technology and product innovation.
