Skinner introduced the concept of the "Skinner Box," a controlled environment for studying animal behavior, which became a standard apparatus in experimental psychology. In 1948, he published "Walden Two," a novel depicting a utopian society founded on behaviorist principles, showcasing his ideas on social engineering. Skinner's 1957 book, "Verbal Behavior," further explored language acquisition through behavioral mechanisms.
