Chris Pratt, born June 21, 1979, in Virginia, Minnesota, is an American actor known for his roles in television and film. He gained prominence as Andy Dwyer on the NBC sitcom "Parks and Recreation" (2009-2015). Transitioning to blockbuster films, Pratt starred as Peter Quill/Star-Lord in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" series, starting in 2014. He is also notable for his role as Owen Grady in the "Jurassic World" trilogy (2015-2022). In 2015, Time magazine included Pratt in its list of the 100 most influential people in the world. His performance in the 2014 film "The Lego Movie" as the voice of Emmet Brickowski further showcased his versatility.
