Joe Frazier

Joe Frazier, born on January 12, 1944, was an American professional boxer who gained worldwide fame as the heavyweight champion from 1970 to 1973. Known for his relentless fighting style and powerful left hook, Frazier won a gold medal at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. His most significant achievement came on March 8, 1971, when he defeated Muhammad Ali in the "Fight of the Century" at Madison Square Garden, retaining his heavyweight title. Frazier's career also included notable bouts against George Foreman and another two fights with Ali, including the legendary "Thrilla in Manila" on October 1, 1975.
