Our own passes through his major published collections — *The World As I See It* and *Ideas and Opinions* — did not surface this exact sentence, and a full-text check of several Einstein volumes turned up no verbatim match, but that reflects the gaps in digitized coverage of his letters and press statements rather than any evidence against him. We found no credible competing author or earlier documented use; the sentiment and dating both point consistently to Einstein in 1932.
