Norman Vincent Peale

Norman Vincent Peale (May 31, 1898 – December 24, 1993) authored the influential self-help book "The Power of Positive Thinking" (1952). He served as the pastor of Marble Collegiate Church in New York City for over five decades, starting in 1932. Peale co-founded the religious magazine "Guideposts" in 1945, which gained widespread readership. He also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1984. Peale's work focused on promoting optimism and positive thinking, distinguishing him as a leading figure in the motivational field. He delivered his messages through various media, including radio broadcasts, sermons, and numerous publications.
