Andrew Murray, born May 15, 1987, in Glasgow, Scotland, is a distinguished professional tennis player. He achieved significant recognition by winning two Wimbledon titles in 2013 and 2016, making him the first British male to win the tournament in 77 years. In 2012, Murray captured the US Open title, becoming the first British male to win a Grand Slam singles tournament since 1936. His career highlights also include winning two Olympic gold medals, in 2012 and 2016, in the men's singles category. Additionally, Murray reached the world's No. 1 ranking in the ATP rankings on November 7, 2016.
