Aristotle

Aristotle (384–322 BCE) was an ancient Greek philosopher and polymath whose works laid the foundation for much of Western intellectual history. A student of Plato and the tutor of Alexander the Great, Aristotle authored numerous influential texts, including "Nicomachean Ethics," where he explored the nature of virtue and the path to a good life, and "Politics," which examined the structure and purpose of the state. He also wrote "Metaphysics," a seminal work on the nature of reality and existence. Aristotle founded the Lyceum in Athens, where he conducted research in various fields, producing an extensive array of writings that encompassed subjects such as biology, logic, and rhetoric.
