Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton, born January 19, 1946, in Sevier County, Tennessee, is an iconic American singer-songwriter and actress. She first gained prominence with the release of her album "Hello, I'm Dolly" in 1967. Parton achieved significant acclaim with her 1973 hit "Jolene" and the 1974 classic "I Will Always Love You," both of which have left an indelible mark on country music. In 1986, she opened Dollywood, a theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, which has become a major tourist attraction. Parton has won numerous awards, including nine Grammy Awards and ten Country Music Association Awards. She was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1999.
