Eddie Murphy

Eddie Murphy, born April 3, 1961, is an American actor, comedian, and singer. He rose to fame on "Saturday Night Live" from 1980 to 1984, where his characters like Buckwheat and Mr. Robinson became iconic. Murphy's film career took off with "48 Hrs." (1982) and "Beverly Hills Cop" (1984), the latter becoming a major box office hit. In 1988, he starred in "Coming to America," which showcased his talent for playing multiple roles. Murphy also excelled in voice acting, most notably as Donkey in the "Shrek" series. His work earned him a Golden Globe Award for his role in "Dreamgirls" (2006).
