Biography
Sadhguru, born Jaggi Vasudev on September 3, 1957, is an Indian yoga guru and spiritual leader. He founded the Isha Foundation in 1992, a non-profit organization that offers yoga programs and social outreach initiatives globally. His book "Inner Engineering: A Yogi's Guide to Joy," published in 2016, became a New York Times bestseller, distinguishing him in the realm of modern spiritual literature. In 2017, he launched the Cauvery Calling campaign, aiming to revitalize the Cauvery River through large-scale tree planting. Additionally, Sadhguru's involvement in the Rally for Rivers campaign in 2017 garnered widespread attention, raising awareness about India's depleting river systems.
