“We can evade reality, but we cannot evade the consequences of evading reality”

Simplified Meaning:

You can try to ignore or avoid the truth about a situation, but sooner or later, you will still have to deal with what happens as a result. For example, if a student skips studying for their exams and instead goes out to have fun, they are avoiding the reality that they need to prepare. When exam day comes, the consequence of not studying will likely be poor grades. Similarly, if someone has a health problem and pretends it doesn't exist by not seeing a doctor, eventually their condition might get worse and become harder to treat. The main idea here is that ignoring problems or pretending they don't exist doesn't make them go away; it just usually makes things worse in the long run. To apply this to your life, face challenges directly and deal with issues head-on, so they don’t become bigger problems later on.
