Biography
Bill Cosby, born July 12, 1937, is an American comedian, actor, and producer. He is best known for his role as Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable on the NBC sitcom "The Cosby Show" (1984-1992), which was lauded for its portrayal of a prosperous African-American family. Cosby’s stand-up comedy career soared with his Grammy-winning album "I Started Out as a Child" in 1964. He also became a notable voice in children's programming with the animated series "Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids" (1972-1985). Despite his significant contributions to entertainment, his career was marred by numerous allegations of sexual assault, resulting in a criminal conviction in 2018.
