Megan Thee Stallion, born Megan Jovon Ruth Pete on February 15, 1995, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. She gained widespread recognition with the release of her single "Hot Girl Summer" in 2019, which became a cultural phenomenon. In 2020, her remix of "Savage" featuring Beyoncé topped the Billboard Hot 100, further catapulting her into stardom. Megan's debut studio album, "Good News," was released in November 2020 and received critical acclaim. In 2021, she won three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist, making her the first female rapper to win the award in over two decades. Megan graduated from Texas Southern University with a degree in Health Administration in 2021.
