Simplified Meaning:

When a person in power treats others unfairly, it's often easier for them to do so because some of the people being treated badly are helping in some way, even if they don't mean to. Think about a bully in school. If other kids who are being bullied don't stand up together and some even join in to avoid being targets themselves, the bully gets stronger and more confident. This idea teaches us that if people being mistreated work together and support each other, they can weaken those who oppress them. For example, during the Civil Rights Movement in the United States, African Americans united to fight against racial discrimination. By standing together, they made it much harder for those in power to continue their unfair treatment. So, in our own lives, if we see someone being unfair or unkind, we should support those affected rather than ignoring or assisting the bully, because unity among the oppressed can lead to positive change.
